Energy efficient washers are here to stay, you might as well get use to it. Today's washers use very little water and use very gentle agitation motion. Some manufactures don't call them washer machines anymore, they are now laundry care centers. The washer says hi to the dryer and the dryer does what the washer wants. Forget the customer. Some customers are not very happy with these new laundry care centers. So do they work?
I believe they do work. Forgive me, but it's you the customer who is broken. That's okay, with a little work, both you and your laundry care center can be up and running in no time.
It smells, it shakes, it doesn't clean, I've got to stand on one foot while touching my nose to make it work. Sound familiar? Once you get to know your new washer, I think you will love it.
Smells..
Your using too much soap, or not High Efficiency soap. The lack of water leaves soap residue in the tub and the hoses. This soap grows a bacteria which causes a sewer smell.
Use one table spoon of High Efficiency soap (HE) Maximum
Fabric softeners, don't use or dilute 50% with water. Less is best.
Keep the door gasket clean. Look at the 6 o clock position and keep the drain holes clean.
Shakes..
Your drain pump is clogged, your floor is not solid and level, or the weight of your clothes.
Your floor must be very solid and level.
Keep your pockets clean, these machines eat keys and money. Check your drain pump every 3 to 4 months. Its located in the front right bottom corner, or in the back at the bottom.
These machines work best with an 80% capacity. Any more or less and it might not spin out the water.
Comforters, bathmats, large blankets, forget it. Go destroy the laundry mats machines not yours.
Stand on one foot..
You will get use to it. These machines do work. We all grew up with top load washers that use lots of water. It takes time. And it's good for the environment.
